I am an amputee needing help with house payment and repairs to house.  I have put in for SSD, but have been told by Social Security that it may take up to a year, due to the backlog in my state.  My wife is on SSD already due to birth defect of a backwards heart and lungs.  She can not work. I was the one making the money for our household.  I love my wife very much and I am helping seeing her hurt everyday trying to worry about the bills and the repairs.  Our hot water heater went out 2 weeks ago and we have no money to buy a new one and install it.  We are 4 months behind on our payment and this worries me.  The bank has been good in understanding about what is going on, but I do not know how much longer they can work with me.  We have no family to go too,  and no way to move.  I have been out of work for 8 months due to a sprider bit.  They had to remove my right leg and left foot due to the infection being so bad.  I pray that someone can help us!
